The Mary Ann Township Fire Department is a small combination department lead by Chief Kelly Smith. Our current roster has 30 members. We have been providing Fire Rescue & EMS response 24/7 since 1962.

The department is staffed Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 16:00, by two personnel, one full time and one of nine part-time members. Most of the time you can find several other members from our roster at the station ready to assist the on duty staff. During the off duty hours, all responses are volunteer and the members carry pagers to respond when needed.
The fire department provides fire, rescue, and ALS & BLS emergency medical services to over 4,000 residents in a 65 square mile area. This response area consists of Mary Ann Township, Fallsbury Township and two-thirds of Eden Township in Licking County, Ohio. We operate out of one station located at Wilkins Corner in Mary Ann Township. Besides the many rural residents, we also cover 7 churches, a Community Center, Boy Scout Camp, Girl Scout Camp, Religious Camp, a demolition and construction waste site, and many small businesses. We currently house one engine, one engine/tanker two advanced life support medics, a mini/pumper rescue, and one grass truck.

Volunteering

Volunteering initiates the development of emergency service skills and education. Stop by the station weekdays from 7am to 4 pm or during one of our Thursday night trainings or meetings and grab an application.

There are many ways to enjoy serving on our team. You may become a Emergency Medical Technician, a Paramedic, or a Firefighter. Don't let our name fool you - while we encourage "cross training" whenever possible, we still welcome volunteer members with specific interests in fire suppression or patient care.

Come grow with us!
